TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
